What does a public adjuster do?
A public adjuster represents you, not the insurance company. We handle your claim from A to Z, so you can get on with your normal life. We inspect the property, review your policy, document the damage, prepare the estimate, and deal with the carrier until the claim is resolved, and we keep you informed at every step so you're the one making the decisions.
Do you work with condo associations, HOAs, and commercial properties?
Yes, Rapid Public Adjusters has nearly 20 years of experience working residential, commercial, and large loss claims. We know how important it is to document claims of that magnitude, and to relay that information to the insurance company effectively, in order to support full and fair coverage and payment for such claims.
How quickly will someone contact me?
We answer all calls and return them 24 hours a day, specifically emergency calls. If we miss a call, we'll return it in less than an hour, and in most cases we schedule a free consultation or site inspection the same day, or based on the client's earliest availability.
My claim was denied or underpaid. Can you still help?
In many cases, yes. Carriers sometimes don't fully investigate a claim. We review the carrier's decision, your policy, and the damage, and where it applies, we give the carrier the documentation needed to challenge the coverage decision and push for a fair resolution. Call us to talk through your claim.
How much does it cost, and do I pay anything upfront?
You don't pay anything upfront, and your consultation to discuss the claim is free. We work on a contingency fee basis, so we only take on claims we believe have a real chance of success. There are no hidden fees. We'll go over every fee and how the contingency applies to your claim when we talk it through with you. Your time matters, and we never want to waste it.
What's the difference between you and the insurance company's adjuster?
Rapid Public Adjusters is always the adjuster on your side. The insurance company's adjuster works for the insurance company, so their interests are aligned with the carrier, and unfortunately that isn't always what's best for your claim. If insurance adjusters and insurance carriers truly did their job properly, our business would not exist.
How long does a claim usually take?
Every claim is different. How long it takes depends on the insurance carrier, the insurance adjuster, and a long list of other variables. Under Florida law, insurers generally must pay or deny a residential property claim within 60 days of receiving notice, though that deadline can be extended in certain situations. At Rapid Public Adjusters, we keep your claim moving and apply pressure when necessary so the carrier reaches a coverage decision as soon as possible.
